DEPOLARIZED ASPHALT is a water base emulsion, composed of dispersed asphalt, emulsified with a colloid mineral and sulfonated organic resins to be used in water-base muds.
This odourless emulsion, non-toxic, of dark brown colour, is used to stabilize shale sections, sealing micro-fractures, controlling solids dispersion and improving wall cake characteristic, DEPOLARIZED ASPHALT also acts as a powerful filtration reducer to High-Temperature and High-Pressure.
This DEPOLARIZED ASPHALT does not contain surfactant agents used in shale-control applications.
It is a non-flammable product while it is in wet state.
DEPOLARIZED ASPHALT is a temperature-stable asphalt complex which  has proven to be one of most effective high-temperature high-pressure filtration-control additives available and also It is often used to seal low-pressure and depleted formations.
This product is environmentally friendly because it is frees of toxic volatile compounds.
