AQUALUB OPTIUM

Lubrican agent, suitable to be used under extreme pressure and hight temperature. Appropriate for use in water base muds.

AQUALUB OPTIUM is a lubricant fluid to be used in drilling where there is extreme pressure and high temperatures. Recommended for all types of drilling fluids, water base or synthetic hydrocarbons due to its high performance. This product is used to prevent the adhesion of fouling in the TREPHINE, thanks to a thin film that coats the organic with it.

Technical Data

AQUALUB OPTIUM slightly increases the rheological properties of the fluid base and significantly improves the leaks API and HP-HT.  
Stable at high temperatures and does not lose its lubrication properties at the high pH and alkalinity of the sludge saturated with salt.  
During the movement is recommended to add it on the circuit.
The concentrations suggested vary between 5 and 20 L/m3, depending on the type of injection and the requirements of lubricity.
At high concentrations are obtained by standard resistance values and low ratios of film with or without hydrocarbons in the middle.

Applications

AQUALUB OPTIUM is used in totally or semi scattered muds and water-based drilling fluids, which can be fresh water or salty solutions until saturation with NaCl, potassium and also compatible with high calcium content fluids while filtration, such as the one in lime or gypsum injections.

Packaging and Storage

AQUALUB OPTIUM is provided in buckets of 20 Lts. Store in a dry area, away from ignition or heat sources; minimize the presence of dust.
